Talk about hidden deserts

hydden-deserts

The CEAB-CSIC researcher Jordi Boada will talk about the importance of forests and meadows of large algae and underwater plants; of its key role in the conservation of biodiversity. It will also provide information about the loss of these valuable ecosystems and how citizens can help scientists study it and propose solutions.

The Hidden Deserts research project, coordinated by the researcher, is one of the investigations in which Sea Observers can collaborate.

The talk is scheduled for October 28 at 6:30 p.m., at the Les Corts library, in Barcelona.

It is one of those included in the Mar de Fons conference series organized by Libraries of Barcelona to explore the relationship between human beings and the seas and oceans.
