The role of Posidonia oceanica in coastal conservation

We are participating in a new Cafè Prismàtic.

Teresa Alcoverro, researcher at CEAB-CSIC, will give a talk about the role of Posidonia oceanica meadows in coastal conservation.

CEAB-CSIC researcher Teresa Alcoverro will participate in the Café Prismátic dedicated to Posidonia oceanica, to discuss the importance of conserving Posidonia and the benefits it brings us, such as coastal protection.

The seminar is titled “Storms and Fires on the Coast: The Role of Posidonia Oceanica” and will be co-hosted by biologist Ponç Feliu, director of the Cap de Creus Natural Park.

The Café Prismàtic are virtual seminars, which cover scientific research and management related to the conservation of natural heritage and biodiversity.

This seminar will take place on October 3, at 12:00 p.m.
