Connecting Science and Schools: Challenges and Opportunities

Within the framework of the International Day of Education, the CSIC is organizing a roundtable discussion —at its central headquarters in Madrid— to debate the relationship between teachers and students in non-university educational stages and the technical and research staff from different CSIC research centres.

The event will feature professionals from the Blanes Centre for Advanced Studies (CEAB-CSIC), specifically Santiago Escartín, coordinator of Mosquito Alert.

The meeting aims to be a space for dialogue to share needs, experiences, and best practices, as well as to explore new forms of collaboration that help bring science closer to the classroom, improve the impact of educational activities, and strengthen ties between the education system and research.

This event is organized by the Education Working Group of the CSIC’s Deputy Vice-Presidency for Scientific Culture.
