PhD in Biology from the University of Barcelona (2006). Her doctoral thesis was developed as part of a project under the EU’s 5th Framework Programme, under the supervision of Dr. Francesc Sabater (UB) and Dr. Eugènia Martí (CEAB-CSIC). The thesis focused on nutrient dynamics and metabolism in Mediterranean rivers affected by nutrient inputs from human activities. The project results contributed to the development of decision-support tools for water resource managers.
Since 2008, she has worked as an R&D&I project manager, initially as a Senior Technician in the Office of Research and Knowledge Transfer at the University of Vic, and later as a Research and Knowledge Transfer Promoter at the University of Girona.
In mid-2024, she joined the CEAB-CSIC as Head of the Internationalization Office. The general aim of the Internationalization Office is to foster excellent scientific research in collaboration with research groups from other countries, particularly within the European Union.
Her responsibilities include:
- Pre- and post-award support services: foresight and promotion aligned with CEAB’s scientific strategy, support in drafting and submitting proposals for EU grant applications, support in negotiating consortium agreements and grant agreements, support in monitoring and justifying European projects, and managing specialized external services.
