He holds a degree in Environmental Sciences and a Master’s degree in International Studies and Development Cooperation. His professional career has spanned more than 20 years at Barcelona City Council, working in the fields of urban ecology, the climate emergency, and the promotion of sustainability partnerships among public administrations, research centres, and social stakeholders.
He has coordinated strategic projects at ICLEI – Local Governments for Sustainability (Freiburg, Germany), and serves as an Independent Expert for the European Commission in the evaluation of environmental-related proposals. He has also worked in the field of international cooperation, including at the United Nations Integrated Mission in Timor-Leste (UNMIT).
He joined CEAB in 2025 in connection with the MaX-CSIC project. The main objectives of the Collaboration, Knowledge Transfer and Social Impact Unit are:
