On December 3, an event will be held to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Urban River Lab, the outdoor laboratory dedicated to improving highly modified rivers.
The event will take place from 10:00 a.m. at the Margarida Xirgu Theater in the municipality of Montornès del Vallès.
The planned program is as follows:
– 10:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.: main event at the theater, with institutional speeches and presentations by the Besòs Tordera Consortium, scientific and technical staff from CEAB-CSIC, the Autonomous University of Barcelona, and Naturalea Conservation. Panel discussion with Tony Herrera (Iberian Center for River Restoration), Ignasi Rodríguez-Roda (University of Girona), Rut Estany (Besòs Tordera Consortium), Francesc Sabater (University of Barcelona), and Antoni Munné (Catalan Water Agency).
– 12:45 p.m. to 1:45 p.m.: visit to the Urban River Lab facilities.
