This December 2nd, from 9:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., a tribute event will be held at the central headquarters of the Centre for Advanced Studies of Blanes (CEAB-CSIC) in honor of the Centre’s researcher Enric “Kike” Ballesteros, who passed away one year ago.
The event will include the unveiling of the plaque and the inauguration of the renovated CEAB-CSIC auditorium, which will now be called “Auditori Enric “Kike” Ballesteros”.
Afterwards, a series of speeches and round tables will take place, highlighting the different facets of “Kike,” from his scientific contributions to his passion for science communication. Researchers close to the eminent ecologist, from research institutions around the world, will participate. You can consult the full program at this link.
