This December 2nd, from 9:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., a tribute event will be held at the central headquarters of the Centre for Advanced Studies of Blanes (CEAB-CSIC) in honor of the Centre’s researcher Enric “Kike” Ballesteros, who passed away one year ago.
The event will begin with the unveiling of the plaque of the renovated CEAB-CSIC auditorium, which is being renamed the “Enric ‘Kike’ Ballesteros Auditorium.”
Afterwards, a series of speeches and round tables will take place, highlighting the different facets of “Kike,” from his scientific contributions to his passion for science communication. Researchers close to the eminent ecologist, from research institutions around the world, will participate. You can consult the full program at this link.
