DocuForum ‘Memories of a Sea’

On March 25 at 6:00 p.m., the documentary “Memories of a Sea” will be screened. It explores the devastating consequences of the Aral Sea’s desiccation for both the population and ecosystems.

After the screening, there will be a discussion with its author, Laura Carrau, and the CEAB-CSIC researchers who led the scientific expedition that serves as the documentary’s starting point, Rafael Marcé and Núria Catalán.

The event will also feature the presence of the Ambassador of Kazakhstan, the CSIC’s Deputy Vice President for Internationalization, and the Director General of Casa Asia.

The activity is organized by the Centre for Advanced Studies of Blanes (CEAB-CSIC), Casa Asia, the CSIC Delegation in Madrid, the CSIC Delegation in Catalonia, and the Researchers’ Residence.
