Until 7 September, the Micrarium invites visitors to discover the beach from a different perspective, not only as a place for leisure but also as a living system where materials, organisms and traces of human activity interact. Through the observation of real samples and the use of magnifying glasses and other magnification devices, visitors can explore details that are invisible to the naked eye and gain a better understanding of the processes that shape these ecosystems.
The CEAB-CSIC has contributed materials, samples and scientific expertise to support the development of the exhibition content, which is structured around a narrative that connects the different elements of the experience and helps visitors discover the beach as a dynamic system where natural processes and human activity interact.
