This year marks the 10th anniversary of the signing of the first river stewardship agreement in Catalonia, a key tool for conserving aquatic ecosystems and preserving their natural values.
To commemorate this milestone, the Catalan Water Agency (ACA) and the Nature Conservation Network (XCN) have organized a series of 4 webinars throughout the fall of 2025. All sessions will be held online via the Zoom platform and require prior registration.
One of these webinars, titled “Removing Infrastructure for River Restoration”, will feature Rafael Marcé, a researcher from CEAB. It will take place on November 19, from 10:00 to 11:30 a.m., and will explore the possibilities, benefits, and experiences related to the removal of infrastructure for river restoration.
