It is an event dedicated to the dissemination of science, which brings citizens and research personnel into direct contact to discuss a large area of \u200b\u200bresearch.<\/p>\n
At the CEAB-CSIC, this year, we dedicate it to the field of limnology<\/strong>, to the research that, from the Center, is carried out in continental water ecosystems.<\/p>\n The event has been scheduled for this September 27 at the CEAB-CSIC headquarters<\/strong>, at the access to the Sant Francesc cove in Blanes<\/strong> (Costa Brava, Girona). It is open to everyone who wants to attend (you will have to reserve a place, since capacity is limited<\/strong>. We will inform you how to do it soon).<\/p>\n It will consist of a commented visit to the exhibition<\/strong> \u201cAugmented ecofeminisms: climate, water and women\u201d (an initiative of the Gender Group of the Iberian Association of Limnology, of which researchers from the CEAB-CSIC are part). It will serve to learn about key concepts in limnology, the research carried out by the CEAB in this area, and the challenges faced by rivers, lakes and other freshwater ecosystems and, with them, all of humanity<\/strong> (due to the direct link we have).<\/p>\n Finally, on the terrace of the Center, the conversation will open between the audience and research staff<\/strong> around the exhibition.
