This Friday, October 25, at 6 p.m. and at the Girona House of Culture, the animated short film “SOC AIGUA” will premiere, which has had the collaboration of the CEAB-CSIC researchers, Anna Lupon, Susana Bernal and N\u00faria Catal\u00e1n.<\/h4>\n

The film, funded by the FCRI (Joan Or\u00f3 Call 2024), is the result of the collaboration of the creative team (Gemma Sanz, Roser Cuss\u00f3 and La Cancan) with the scientific team of the Gender and Science group of the Iberian Association of Limnology (AIL) .<\/p>\n

“SOC AIGUA” talks about the impacts of climate change on freshwater ecosystems and its consequences for girls and women. Does it with a colorful style and with language suitable for children. It accompanies us to observe vulnerability to the climate emergency, the ecofeminist perspective, drought and floods, salinization, eutrophication, pollution, loss of biodiversity, and water as an energy resource.<\/p>\n

The event will feature the creators of the short, as well as the scientific staff who have prepared the material on which it is based and have collaborated on the script.<\/p>\n
