The project\u2019s PhD students will explain how antibiotic resistance genes reach the environment through wastewater, agriculture, and other anthropogenic sources. They will also discuss the mechanisms by which these genes can be transferred between microorganisms, contributing to their dissemination.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1941\" data-end=\"2272\">The talk will present methods for analyzing and detecting these genes in environmental samples, as well as the potential ecological impacts and risks to human health. Ultimately, it will address the role of the environment in the expansion of antibiotic resistance and the importance of controlling it to prevent future problems.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2274\" data-end=\"2352\" data-is-last-node=\"\" data-is-only-node=\"\"><strong>The event is open to everyone interested.
