The Bluewave Alliance organizes this event, where scientists share their knowledge with managers and the private sector to ensure that scientific evidence informs decision-making that benefits the environment and, more specifically, the protection and recovery of marine ecosystems. The Symposium will include a tribute to the distinguished ecologist Kike Ballesteros.<\/h5>\n

After the tribute, Blue Talks will be held, featuring Teresa Alcoverro<\/strong><\/a>, a researcher from the Department of Marine Ecology at CEAB-CSIC.<\/p>\n

The event will conclude with the presentation of the Bluewave Awards 2025.<\/p>\n

In addition to the symposium, the Alliance promotes the Costa Brava Blue Fest, which includes various organized activities such as coastal and seabed cleanups, guided dives to discover biodiversity, and informative talks.
