I completed my doctoral thesis at the Institute for Interdisciplinary Physics and Complex Systems (IFISC, CSIC-UIB), under the supervision of Dr. Manuel A. Mat\u00edas. After a research stay at the University of Oxford, I am currently a Juan de la Cierva Research Fellow at the Blanes Centre for Advanced Studies (CEAB-CSIC).<\/p>\n<p>My research lies at the intersection of complex systems physics and theoretical and computational ecology. I combine mathematical models, stochastic and spatially explicit methods, machine learning, and the analysis of climate and remote sensing data. I primarily study the stability and resilience of populations and ecological communities, the dynamics of emerging diseases, and the spatial organization of marine and terrestrial ecosystems.
