Last October, the Magnet Alliance<\/a> between the Rocagrossa Institute<\/a> in Lloret de Mar and the Center for Advanced Studies of Blanes<\/a> (CEAB-CSIC) was officially presented . Since then, some online and face-to-face training sessions have been held, but it was not until yesterday that the Institute’s Magnet Commission was able to visit the CEAB facilities. <\/span><\/p>\n

During the visit we explained the 5 main axes of our research and we had the opportunity to detail how we work and how we do research within the CEAB. We also visited the different laboratories and facilities we have. <\/span><\/p>\n

A day that, in short, has allowed the teachers of the institute to know us better and understand our science. This alliance begins with the desire to put the expert and scientific excellence at the service of educational transformation and equity.<\/span><\/p>\n

Magnet, alliances for educational success <\/span><\/h3>\n

This program promotes the alliance of an educational center with an institution of excellence in a specific field of knowledge. This alliance allows the school to develop an innovative and quality educational project, an attractive project that has magnetism and that becomes a reference project in its territory, both for families and for the educational community. The program is inspired by the Magnet Schools of the United States, which have been operating since the 1970s. <\/span><\/p>\n

The participating institutions are institutions of reference and excellence in a specific field of knowledge (science, technology, art, audiovisual communication, etc.) that have an educational commitment to society, and a great capacity to transfer innovation and knowledge. .<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
