En particular, las transiciones de ecosistemas con vegetaci\u00f3n y, especialmente, en el colapso de los bosques de macroalgas convirti\u00e9ndose en \u00e1reas rocosas desnudas e improductivas.<\/p>\n<p>Se combinan prospecciones naturales con experimentos manipulativos (de campo y laboratorio) y modelos matem\u00e1ticos para conceptualizar colapsos en ecosistemas marinos, identificar puntos de inflexi\u00f3n y cuantificar la resiliencia.<\/p>\n<p>Tambi\u00e9n se estudian las consecuencias de los colapsos marinos para los bienes y servicios de los ecosistemas y su v\u00ednculo con los cambios socioecol\u00f3gicos, proporcionando enfoques complementarios para la adecuada gesti\u00f3n de los sistemas marinos bent\u00f3nicos.<\/p>\n<p>La investigaci\u00f3n est\u00e1 estrechamente vinculada a los efectos del cambio global ya c\u00f3mo los cambios esperados en las condiciones f\u00edsicas del medio ambiente pueden erosionar o aumentar la resiliencia de los ingenieros del h\u00e1bitat para proponer prioridades de conservaci\u00f3n y prevenir el colapso de ecosistemas que de hecho contribuyen a amortiguar sus efectos.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>La investigaci\u00f3n est\u00e1 estrechamente vinculada a los efectos del cambio global ya c\u00f3mo pueden erosionar la resiliencia de los ingenieros de h\u00e1bitats como son las macroalgas.
