Los llamados datos masivos de comunidades (big community data) se obtienen a partir de los inventarios exhaustivos que se pueden generar con m\u00e9todos gen\u00e9ticos. De estos datos se<br \/>\npuede extraer informaci\u00f3n relevante para investigaci\u00f3n aplicada. Nos vamos a concentrar, por un lado, en los impactos del cambio clim\u00e1tico. Queremos generar datos de base en comunidades bent\u00f3nicas clave y continuar el monitoreo en marcha en la costa Ib\u00e9rica mediterr\u00e1nea y en los Parques Nacionales con dominio marino (Archipi\u00e9lago de Cabrera e Islas Atl\u00e1nticas de Galicia). Vamos a aplicar algoritmos de aprendizaje autom\u00e1tico (machine learning) y modelos de distribuci\u00f3n conjunta para evaluar los cambios en las comunidades monitorizadas y para detectar unidades taxon\u00f3micas que puedan actuar como bioindicadores.<\/p>\n<p>Por otro lado, vamos a aplicar secuenciaci\u00f3n de amplicones con diversos marcadores a aspectos de bioseguridad. Vamos a investigar comunidades de puertos y exteriores para monitorizar la llegada de especies introducidas y sus interacciones, as\u00ed como hacer un seguimiento de especies da\u00f1inas para organismos marinos, para la calidad ambiental, o para la salud humana (plagas, pat\u00f3genos, especies formadoras de proliferaciones de algas nocivas).<\/p>\n<p>Tambi\u00e9n realizaremos una investigaci\u00f3n dirigida a microorganismos protistas que actuan como par\u00e1sitos y pat\u00f3genos en cultivos de bivalvos y ascidias asociadas en el Delta del Ebro. Esta instalaci\u00f3n de acuicultura est\u00e1 entre las m\u00e1s importantes del Mediterr\u00e1neo occidental. Su constante interacci\u00f3n con campos de cultivo y con las descargas del r\u00edo la convierten en altamente vulnerable a enfermedades de los bivalvos, que tambi\u00e9n pueden acumular
