The CEAB-CSIC, in collaboration with and with funding from the National Geographic Pristine Seas program, is announcing the “Kike Ballesteros” predoctoral fellowship in memory of Enric “Kike” Ballesteros, a marine biologist who dedicated his life to scientific research and the dissemination of knowledge about marine biodiversity.

This fellowship not only seeks to continue his scientific work but also to inspire future generations of researchers to follow his example in the study of marine ecosystems.

The fellowship funding will be used to complete a doctoral thesis in Mediterranean Marine Ecology.
