Dr. Marc Ventura participates in the workshop “Exchanging Experiences on invasive alien species projects in Europe”

The workshop “Exchanging Experiences on invasive alien species projects in Europe” starts today.  The event, which takes place at the Social Innovation Center in La Noria (Malaga), is organized by the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN) within the framework of the European project LIFE Invasaqua and will bring together experts from 18 LIFE programme projects dedicated to finding solutions to the presence of invasive species.

This 2-day event will consist of presentations by project representatives on the main topics and discussions for greater interaction between the different experts who work in the field of IAS and/or freshwater ecosystem management.

Our researcher Marc Ventura, coordinator of the LIFE RESQUE ALPYR project, presents today the project’s main objectives and actions to control and eradicate exotic aquatic invasive species.

The event can be followed live through this link. We also leave you the program of the event here.
