We participate in the annual meeting of Prismàtic!

As you know from a few years ago, we are actively collaborating with the Plataforma de Coneixement per a la Gestió del Patrimoni Natural i la Biodiversitat (Prismàtic) and that is why we are very happy to be able to participate in the annual autumn day they organize.

Marc Ventura, researcher at the Center for Advanced Studies in Blanes, will take part, explaining his experience in studies of the eradication of fish introduced into high mountain lakes and in particular, the case of the red barbel in the Pyrenees national park.

The meeting aims to be a point of learning and debate between the scientific community and people dedicated to decision-making around natural heritage and biodiversity. This year, it will focus on species conservation. The main objective of the day is to provide good practices around the conservation of species and their monitoring, both in the terrestrial environment (forest area, high mountains), inland waters and marine.

The event will take place on December 15, 2021 and will finally be virtual. You can find the registration form here.

What is Prismàtic?

The Prismàtic platform is a digital space that gathers cutting-edge knowledge on natural heritage and biodiversity generated by research centers and other entities. The knowledge is summarized in fact sheets that present the scientific results in a language accessible to managers and planners. In this way, decision-makers will be able to save time in the search for information and will be up to date with the latest developments that science brings to the management of the natural environment on issues related to biodiversity, forests, change. climate or land management.

This year 2021, from the CEAB we have uploaded a total of 7 files on various topics. Here is the link to each of them in case you haven’t read them yet (only in catalan):
