BlauCat-Current Status and Action Plan for Blue Carbon in Catalonia

The BlauCat project aims to assess the current status of blue carbon in Catalonia’s coastal ecosystems and contribute to the development of an action plan for their conservation and restoration, as a tool to support public policies for climate change mitigation and adaptation. The project will generate a homogeneous and georeferenced database on blue carbon stocks and fluxes at the regional scale, as well as an analysis of the restoration potential of these ecosystems.

Improving monitoring and environmental risk assessment of pharmaceuticals, antimicrobial resistance and pathogens from terrestrial to aquatic environments (Pharm-ERA)

Pharmaceutical micro-pollutants are chemicals used for human and animal health care that are found everywhere including in soil, water and sediment. This chemical contamination is usually associated with microbiological contamination (by microorganisms and/or their genetic material) from humans, animals and the environment.
