Investigating the effects of droughts on freshwater fish populations. The research project seeks to understand how individuals and groups of fish cope with severe droughts and how phenotypic variation can affect population structure and resilience.

Research in the framework of global change: how animals adapt to it, change their behavior.

Field work is carried out in streams and rivers in La Garrotxa and near Girona, Catalonia, Spain. Experimentation is also carried out under controlled conditions in the CEAB laboratories, at the LEOV.
