Europeean Research Network funded by the EuroMarine Consortium and LABEX-Mer to develop a transdisciplinary approach (including chemistry, biogeochemistry, biochemistry, physiology, genomics) to better understand and model silicification and silicifiers.
The primary objective of this research proposal is to increase our understanding of the natural variability in physical, chemical and biological processes within cold-water coral ecosystems to obtain a better understanding of their response and adaptability to ocean acidification and warming.
